Derby Chemistry Teacher reacts well to her new car

All the elements of a great car finance deal are in place for Derby High School’s Head of Chemistry Carole Riley. 41-year-old Carole, who has taught in Derby for 13 years, has been a fan of Minis for some years so was delighted to discover that she could swap her four-year-old Mini One for a brand new model in September 2009 – all without her monthly bill increasing.

And what better colour of car for a Chemistry teacher than ‘Sparkling Silver’?

“I was astonished to discover that, with Newgate’s help, I could swap 2005 Mini for a brand new one, complete with metallic paint and alloy wheels, and the monthly payments wouldn’t go up,” says Carole.

“The school Chaplain recommended Newgate to me and I found their customer service and prices to be just what I was looking for. “My new car is perfect for nipping around town and although it’s small, I can still fit the shopping and my lacrosse kit in it.

“I wouldn’t say my new car is ‘too cool for school’ but it’s certainly not done my street cred with the students any harm,” she continues. “Some of the older ones even drive Minis themselves!” It seems that Newgate’s special teachers’ scheme has the perfect formula for success.
