Golf win leads to a great drive
The minister from Glasgow Cathcart Trinity church in Clarkston scored the best round in the recent inaugural Church of Scotland v Roman Catholic Church golf match at Kilmacolm, Renfrewshire. The event. organised by clergy cars supplier Newgate Motoring Solutions, was aimed as a major contribution to the campaign against sectarianism.
The Rev. Morrison's prize was a weekend's free use of a Peugeot 207 convertible which he drove to Lake Windermere for a break in the English Lake District.
He went on to star for the Church of Scotland's team in a win against the Church of England at Kilspindie, East Lothian.
